Based in Kawerau, Bay of Plenty – in the centre of the North Island, our high stud workshops of 1200 and 1500 square metres in size are dedicated to the servicing and repairing of all types and sizes of electrical machines and control equipment. The access in and around the building is excellent with ample space for trucks and articulated trailers to load and offload.

The workshops gantry cranes have a lifting capacity of 12.6 tonne (2 x 6.3 tonne hoists), and 20 tonnes (2 x 10 tonne hoists). Much larger loads can be lifted inside the workshop using mobile cranes. Machines can be offloaded onto the floor where they can be dismantled using the overhead cranes.

We also have coil winding machines for random wound stators, form wound stators, form wound field and interpole coils. New shafts and other parts are manufactured to specifications as required, and mechanical repairs are undertaken covering shafts, bearings, housings and general welding.
